I was trying to use up some scraps I have had around for awhile! I don't know if you can tell, but on the rectangle, I just put three strips of patterned paper together for the background. Then I popped up the friends image with a dimensional. I don't know about you, but when I set out to use some scraps, it seems as if I only use a little piece here and there and don't really make a "dent" in my pile like I want to. So, for this card I put scraps everywhere! It was really fun and I like the colors.
{ingredients}
paper: certainly celery, elegant eggplant, pattern paper
ink: certainly celery, elegant eggplant
stamps: simply the best, all holidays
more: flower punch, circle punces, scallop punch, dimensionals

This card is beautiful! I love how you used your scraps. I need to use some of mine. It is getting ridiculous how many pieces I have collected already! Oh, by the way, tomorrow's your birthday and I announced it on my blog. Hehehehe! :D Hope you don't mind!
Hi friend! Happy Birthday indeed! :) :) Cool cards too, I love the idea of using strips of scraps for the background. Have a great day!
This is great! I love how you used those scraps in the rectangle. I have such a hard time tossing DSP scraps-it's worse than plain CS, lol. Beautiful layout and a stunning card, TFS!
Did somebody say, "birthday"? Have a Happy!!
This card would be perfect for Chrissy's Belli Challenge #12. It's to make a card with your scraps. Your card is beautifully designed.
:-)
